Although World Vision is not currently hiring for active internship roles, the organisation is building a Spring & Summer Talent Pool for students and recent graduates who want to be considered for upcoming opportunities.
A Three-Month Experience with Global Impact
World Vision’s internship program runs in two cohorts—Spring (January to April) and Summer (May to August). Each cohort offers a three-month journey focused on hands-on learning, impactful assignments, and engagement with experienced professionals across nearly 100 countries.
Interns work remotely from within the U.S., joining a global organisation of more than 33,000 staff members united by a mission grounded in Christian faith. For many, this is more than an internship—it’s an introduction to what it means to serve vulnerable communities through compassion, innovation, and professional excellence.
What Is the Talent Pool?
Applying to the Talent Pool is the first step for students and graduates interested in future openings. While this is not an active job posting, it signals your interest in being considered when roles matching your qualifications become available.
World Vision reviews all Talent Pool applications and contacts candidates when a relevant internship opens. This approach helps the organisation connect early with motivated, mission-driven individuals; it also gives applicants a head start in the competitive humanitarian and development field.

Eligibility and Requirements
To qualify for the U.S.–based internship talent pool, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have valid work authorisation in the U.S. (citizenship, permanent residency, or F-1 visa with CPT/OPT)
- Possess a U.S. Social Security Number
- Commit to 24–40 hours per week during the internship
- Be a current student or recent graduate (within the last two years)
- Agree to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith
- Use their own electronic devices, allowing WVI to install required security software
Interns must also reside in one of the U.S. states where World Vision is registered as an employer, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and several others.
The internship is unpaid but includes a monthly stipend of $800 for U.S.-based interns.
