Position: Intern – Office of the Chief Investment Officer (Front Office, Investment Operations)

This internship sits at the heart of GCF’s investment decision-making processes. You will directly support the Investment Operations Team within the OCIO Front Office—an area central to shaping and managing GCF’s global project portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing

As an intern, you will provide operational and administrative support while gaining exposure to high-level climate investment planning and management. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Pipeline Monitoring & Data Analysis

You will assist in tracking and analyzing GCF’s project pipeline, contributing to prioritization and portfolio management. This involves working with data, identifying trends, and helping ensure that projects align with strategic goals.

Strategic Investment Planning Support

You will help implement GCF’s strategic plan and annual work programme. This includes drafting workplans, analyzing and projecting pipeline data, and contributing to departmental reports for senior management and the GCF Board.

Secretariat Investment Committee Support

You will support the Climate Investment Committee and Operations Committee by:

  • Circulating agendas
  • Coordinating meetings
  • Following up on committee decisions

Cross-Secretariat Strategic Initiatives

You may also provide analytical and logistical support for corporate change initiatives and other strategic priorities within the OCIO.
