Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support a wide range of HR and administrative functions, including:
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Assisting hiring managers in drafting and reviewing job openings.
- Screening applicants to ensure eligibility criteria are met.
- Conducting reference checks and academic verifications.
- Preparing and initiating offers of appointment.
- Coordinating written assessments, interviews, and competitive exams.
- Maintaining electronic rosters for national category positions.
Payroll & Financial Administration
- Processing monthly payroll for staff and Service Contract holders.
- Tracking and adjusting monthly danger pay.
- Creating and maintaining financial records in SAP.
- Acting as a certifying officer within authorized limits under UNESCO financial policy.
HR Administration & Staff Support
- Conducting exit interviews and managing separation processes.
- Drafting responses to HR-related queries.
- Participating in HR Working Group meetings.
- Performing additional work-related duties as required.

Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education

Work Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Human Resources, administration, or operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in international organizations, preferably in diverse working environments.
- Experience working with UN agencies is desirable.
