About the Role
The Business Analyst, Data Governance plays a critical role in enhancing data quality, integrity, and usability across the organization. Key Responsibilities
1. Data Process Analysis and Root-Cause Investigation
You will analyze how data moves across systems and teams. This includes evaluating end-to-end workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and conducting root-cause analysis to uncover the source of data issues. By mapping workflows and highlighting bottlenecks, you will help identify areas for improvement.
2. Designing Data Process Improvements

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have a strong combination of technical and analytical skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience analyzing business processes and understanding data flows
- Hands-on experience conducting root-cause analysis of data issues
- Knowledge of data governance principles, including data quality, metadata, and stewardship
- Ability to document processes using workflows, data flows, or diagrams
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
