This full-time consultancy role is based within WFP’s Technology Division, specifically the Digital Solutions Delivery Branch (TECD). The position focuses on strengthening and guiding the organization’s business intelligence and analytics systems during a major digital transformation.

WFP is currently undergoing a large-scale modernization of its data ecosystem. This includes transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, migrating SAP BW to SAP Datasphere, and optimizing analytics platforms like SAP Business Objects (BO) and Tableau.
This transformation is vital for improving operational efficiency, enhancing decision-making, and ensuring that humanitarian assistance is delivered effectively. As a Senior Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring that WFP’s data systems remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with its global mission.
Additionally, this role supports the implementation of WFP’s Strategic Plan and Corporate Results Framework, ensuring all country offices are fully operational under the new system by mid-2026.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will take on a leadership role in both technical execution and strategic planning. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading impact assessments and ensuring the integrity of the BI landscape during SAP transformation
- Overseeing S/4HANA data models and aligning them with enterprise architecture standards
- Designing and implementing a comprehensive data cleansing roadmap
- Coordinating BI integration across platforms such as SAP Datasphere, BO, and Tableau
- Supporting analytics tools including COMET, SPRING, SAP, and DOTS
- Validating external vendor deliverables and ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Approving SAP Datasphere data models for enterprise reporting
- Updating and optimizing Business Objects Universes and reports
- Refreshing and validating Tableau dashboards and data sources
- Providing regular progress updates, risk assessments, and performance reports

Qualifications and Experience

Experience
