UNIDO is hiring a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist under Requisition ID 7382 at the ISA-P4 level. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the Division of Strategic Programming, Results Monitoring and Quality Assurance by delivering high-level analytical and advisory services. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert input into the review of UNIDO’s Results-Based Management (RBM) systems
- Co-leading the design and implementation of the organization’s first RBM Award
- Mapping and improving monitoring and evaluation processes across projects, programmes, and corporate levels
- Supporting accurate and timely reporting across technical and non-technical units
- Developing and refining M&E tools, templates, and reporting frameworks
- Contributing to major corporate reports such as the Annual Report and Medium-Term Programme Framework
- Promoting gender-responsive monitoring and integrating sex-disaggregated data into reporting systems
This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with UNIDO’s monitoring and reporting policies.

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Economics, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience:
- At least 7 years of professional experience in industrial development or technical cooperation
- Minimum 3 years of international-level experience
- Proven expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
- Experience with Results-Based Management (RBM) is an advantage
- Demonstrated work in gender equality and women’s empowerment
- Experience working within international organizations, preferably the UN system
- Languages: Fluency in English and at least one additional UNIDO working language
