Role Overview

The Digital Innovation Officer will play a central role in supporting El Salvador’s ambitious National Digital Agenda 2020–2030. This position is a full-time SC8 contract role for 11 months, requiring on-site presence in San Salvador.

Reporting to the Country Director, the selected candidate will act as a senior advisor, collaborating closely with government institutions, private sector stakeholders, and international partners. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and scaling digital transformation initiatives aligned with national priorities and WFP’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

In this high-impact position, you will:

  • Provide strategic guidance to government stakeholders, ensuring alignment with national digital policies
  • Drive innovation by managing a portfolio of digital projects, from ideation to implementation
  • Facilitate collaboration between public institutions, private sector actors, academia, and global partners
