Project Background: The Livelihood Hub

The Online Course Content Developer will support the Afghanistan Livelihood Hub, a structured reintegration program designed for Afghan nationals returning from European countries.

Returning migrants often face a complex combination of challenges, including:

  • Social stigma associated with returning from abroad
  • Limited local support networks
  • Financial debt accumulated during migration
  • Psychological stress or trauma
  • Barriers to formal employment or entrepreneurial opportunities

To address these challenges, Seefar has developed the Livelihood Hub curriculum, currently delivered in-person over 48 days, with sessions lasting approximately 2.5 hours daily.

To increase reach and accessibility, the curriculum is being adapted into two new modalities:

  1. Self-paced online learning modules
  2. Hybrid learning combining online courses with one-on-one counseling sessions

The Online Course Content Developer will be responsible for transforming the in-person curriculum into engaging online modules, hosted on Seefar Academy, ensuring the content is culturally appropriate, learner-centered, and accessible.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and value creation
  • Market analysis and opportunity identification
  • Business planning, financial management, and budgeting
  • Marketing strategies for small enterprises

Learners are guided through exercises to develop a basic business plan and reflect on their entrepreneurial potential.
