What the Consultant Will Do

The role is designed to support the mainstreaming of protection and inclusion commitments within WFP Cambodia’s programming. Reporting to senior staff, the consultant provides analytical, coordination, and technical support across cross‑sectoral initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Programme Analysis & Integration

Support the development of Protection, Inclusion, and Accountability components across projects, ensuring alignment with WFP’s policies and translating them into actionable and measurable results.

2. Coordination & Project Support

Assist project management for inclusion-related activities across social protection, equitable food systems, and disaster risk management. Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, programme units, and external partners.

3. Data Collection, Monitoring & Reporting

Strengthen monitoring systems and ensure that inclusion indicators—such as those related to gender, age, and disability—are consistently tracked and reported to inform decision-making.

4. Research & Barriers Analysis

Conduct research and analysis to identify barriers faced by vulnerable groups, feeding insights into programme design and strategic priorities.

5. Multi‑Stakeholder Engagement

Engage government entities, civil society organizations, women’s rights groups, and disability networks to foster collaborative approaches that deepen inclusion across initiatives.

6. Capacity Strengthening

Support skill-building for WFP staff, partners, and government counterparts in inclusive planning, community engagement, and safe programming practices.

7. Accountability & Community Feedback

Enhance mechanisms for accountability and feedback to ensure that affected populations have a voice in the programs impacting their lives.

Who Should Apply
