About the Driver Position

The Driver will work under the supervision of the Logistics and Fleet Management team within the IRC Lebanon Country Program. The selected candidate will provide transportation support for IRC staff, cargo, and materials while ensuring full compliance with safety standards and fleet procedures.

This role is essential for supporting field activities and humanitarian operations across different regions of Lebanon. The driver must be prepared for regular field movements, inter-office travel, and occasional overnight stays when required.

Key Responsibilities

The Driver will be responsible for several transportation and logistics duties, including:

• Safely transporting authorized IRC personnel during official assignments
• Delivering cargo, materials, and supplies to project locations, warehouses, and suppliers
• Operating IRC vehicles in accordance with Lebanese traffic laws and organizational fleet policies
• Maintaining complete and accurate vehicle log sheets
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Reporting accidents, incidents, or vehicle breakdowns promptly
• Supporting field missions and inter-office transportation needs
• Traveling to approved operational areas across Lebanon

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional driving experience
