The Role: Senior Content Producer

Reporting directly to the Strategic Communications Manager, the Senior Content Producer will lead the development of compelling video content focused on migration. The role is designed to support donor objectives under ongoing projects in Iraq while ensuring that all materials adhere to Seefar’s brand and messaging standards.

As a Senior Content Producer, you will be responsible for producing up to three videos per month, primarily by repackaging existing content from Seefar’s extensive video archive. Where needed, you will source additional material, including through AI-supported tools, to create visually engaging stories that resonate with diverse audiences. Each video, ranging from 2–3 minutes in length, will also be adapted into shorter formats for platforms like LinkedIn and Seefar’s website.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Production & Editing: Transform raw footage into cohesive, high-quality video content. Produce new videos when required, ensuring all outputs meet professional and ethical standards.
  • Storytelling: Develop narratives that align with Seefar’s mission, emphasizing human rights, gender equality, and social impact. Collaborate with the Strategic Communications team to refine ideas and deliver concise scripts or captions.
  • Website & Digital Asset Management: Upload video content to Seefar’s website and social media channels, supporting basic analytics to track performance.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4–5 years of experience in videography and visual storytelling, preferably in documentary or humanitarian contexts. Strong writing and editing skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex social issues into accessible content, are essential. Familiarity with AI tools, animation, and conflict-sensitive communication are highly desirable, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Position Details

  • Start Date: 12 January 2026
  • Duration: Full-time, 3 months (till 31 March 2026)
  • Fee: GBP 15,000 on successful delivery, pro-rated for partial delivery
  • Location: Iraq (remote work possible; travel may be required)
