Background of the Project

This consultancy is part of a major environmental initiative focused on the Cambodia-Mekong River Delta Aquifer (CMDA)—a vital transboundary groundwater system shared between Cambodia and Vietnam.

The aquifer supports approximately 35 million people, many of whom rely on groundwater for drinking and agriculture. However, the region faces growing challenges such as:

Objective of the Role

The Project Liaison Officer will play a central coordination role, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders involved in the project.
