Eligibility Criteria for ICRISAT Internship Program 2026

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in a recognized university or institution.
• Be pursuing BSc, MSc, or PhD programs.
• Have completed coursework requirements.
• Be free from classroom attendance during the research period.
• Undertake research or internship as part of academic requirements.

Application Fees for ICRISAT Study-cum-Research Program

International Applicants

• USD $20 (non-refundable)

Indian Applicants

• INR ₹1,500 (inclusive of GST)

Applicants are required to upload proof of payment during registration.

Bench Fees

Internship Students

• USD $100 for the first three months
• USD $25 for every additional month

Master’s Students

• USD $100 for the first six months
• USD $50 for each additional six-month period

Doctoral Students

• USD $150 for the first twelve months
• USD $50 for each additional six-month period

Important Note

Bench fees do not cover:

• Accommodation
• Food
• Travel expenses

Students from low-income countries recognized by FAO receive a 50% concession.
