About the Role

As a key member of the organization, you will oversee grant financial management, including budgeting, accounting, compliance, donor reporting, and international payments. Currently active in Brazil’s Caatinga region, the program is expanding in 2026 to include new cohorts in Uganda and Kenya, focusing on transforming food systems in the Lake Victoria and Turkana regions.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will handle a wide range of financial and grant-related duties, including:
Grant Management
- Reviewing grant agreements and tracking key deliverables
- Preparing and managing donor budgets and forecasts
- Monitoring income and expenditures against approved budgets
- Ensuring compliance with donor requirements and regulations
- Coordinating financial reporting and grant close-outs
Regranting Oversight
- Supporting grantee budget development and due diligence
- Managing disbursements and tracking reporting deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with donor policies
- Maintaining accurate financial records and audit trails
Budget Management
- Developing multi-year program budgets
- Tracking funding gaps and allocating resources effectively
- Collaborating with leadership on financial planning
- Maintaining grant databases and reporting systems

Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
- At least 5 years of experience in finance or grants management

- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
