The Role: Vetting Administrator
As a Vetting Administrator (Grade E), you will play a vital role in ensuring that Oxfam’s onboarding and vetting processes are accurate, efficient and aligned with the organisation’s safeguarding commitments. The Vetting team sits at the core of Operational HR and works closely with colleagues across the organisation, making this role an excellent entry point into HR operations within a large international charity.
You will provide transactional support throughout the onboarding journey, acting as a key contact for managers and new starters. From processing new starter information to maintaining high standards of compliance, your work will directly support Oxfam’s ability to recruit safely and responsibly.
This role also offers hands-on experience with key HR systems, including PeopleSoft HR, BOX for document management, and PageUp for recruitment. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their administrative expertise while gaining valuable exposure to HR systems and processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Support managers and employees across the full onboarding and vetting process
- Process new starter information accurately and in line with agreed standards
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Use and maintain HR systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Work closely with colleagues across teams, contributing to smooth HR operations
Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be key to keeping processes running efficiently in a busy, people-focused environment.

- Salary: £23,942 per year, plus a £2,085 hotspot allowance if applicable
