About the Creative & Cultural Advocacy Lead Role
The Creative & Cultural Advocacy Lead will join Wellcome’s Corporate Affairs division within the Creative & Cultural Advocacy Team.
This leadership position focuses particularly on Climate & Health, using arts, culture, storytelling, and creative partnerships to inspire public support and encourage decision-makers to take meaningful action.
The successful candidate will collaborate across multiple departments including:
- Communications
- Policy
- Research
- Partnerships
- Wellcome Collection
- Senior Leadership Teams
The role also involves building relationships with artists, producers, cultural organizations, commissioners, and international creative partners.
Key Responsibilities
As the Creative & Cultural Advocacy Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing innovative creative advocacy programmes.
- Leading large-scale cultural engagement initiatives.
- Managing projects from planning through delivery.
- Developing public engagement campaigns.
- Building partnerships with creative and cultural organisations.
- Leading multidisciplinary project teams.
- Managing programme governance and risk.
- Monitoring programme performance and evaluation.
