Key Responsibilities
The Communications and Social Media Specialist will:
- Produce videos, reels, infographics, captions, and animations for social media
- Support live coverage of missions, events, and campaigns
- Create human-centered stories featuring farmers, women, and youth
- Translate technical and policy content into engaging digital messages
- Draft posts for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Monitor engagement metrics such as reach, views, and interactions
- Manage regional social media channels according to FAO guidelines
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate and credible content
- Contribute to monthly content calendars and campaign planning
